BC Diving represented at Vancouver Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show

The DIABC will be out in full force this coming weekend, at Vancouver’s rather excellent Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show. Come on down, say hello, chat about diving and see what else there is to do in this fantastic province!

The show takes place Saturday 7th Match to Sunday 8th March at the Vancouver Convention Centre, downtown Van. The two day event offers a large selection of exhibits covering all aspects of BC outdoor life.

The DIABC will have a booth at the show, and if last year is any indication – this year will be another busy couple of days, which saw a huge interest especially from non divers. We had a lot of interest in our video – with most people being amazed what was in our local waters. This prompted lots of conversations with non divers, tropical vacation divers, and even existing divers that never knew what they were missing locally.

This year we have our new DIABC branding, new I Love BC campaign, and some cool little stickers to give out!

• Explore B.C. like never before by attending special presentations on the all new Best Of BC Adventures Stage and get an authentic travel experience.
• Watch the pros take on interactive canoe, kayak and stand-up paddleboard demos in the Demo Pool, plus sign up to participate in an in water demo! Several lower mainland dive stores will also being giving scuba related demos in the pool.

The DIABC booth will be staffed by volunteers, and the DIABC is extremely grateful to them for giving up there time to help promote diving in BC.
